Homemade Salad Dressing

In my family, we always finish a meal with a big salad. Here I will show you how to make salad dressing that is super easy and very delicious.

I like to mix different types of lettuce. I like a little iceberg mixed with green leaf and some of those variety packages. It all depends on what looks fresh when I go to the supermarket.

I always love a tomato. Sometimes I'll add a little onion, especially when I have a red onion in the house.

Just remember to wash everything. I even wash the greens that come in a bag that say they are ready to eat. I just feel better if I do it myself.

Ingredients

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Estimate 3/4 cup)

Red Wine Vinegar or Apple Cider Vinegar (Estimate 1/8 cup)

Salt and Pepper

Oil and Vinegar

Method

Mix Olive Oil and Vinegar together.

Add Salt and Pepper to taste.

(When you get really comfortable with this combination, you will be able to lightly pour the oil and vinegar directly onto the salad, then mix. Also remember, even the olive oil and vinegar combination is to your taste. Some people like a lot of vinegar, and some people prefer less.)

Oil and Vinegar dressing

Drizzle the oil and vinegar dressing over the lettuce, and you are all set!
